Packing needs patients and foresight. Often when mov ing house people will leave everything to the last minute and find themselves over stressed during their move and worst still, damaged items due to incorrect or inadequate packing. Sometimes it can seem like an impossible task but below is a list of items to pack first before your move.
It is a great idea to create a move calendar with reminders of what to pack day by day leading up to your move day. Also start a house inventory checklist this can be used for categorising, numbering and organising boxes, this will help you sort your items out much more efficiently.
This is also the time to throw out anything not worth moving you will be amazed at how much stuff you have accumulated over the years that you no longer use.
A major rule when packing up for moving house is that you should start the packing process from the least frequently used rooms and premises in your home.
