The Government has now amended it’s COVID-19 regulations to now allow people to move home if they wish to do so. The new guidance provides important information to ensure moving home can happen safely. Removal firms are able to operate, although they may need to adjust usual procedures in order to ensure moves happen as safely as possible.
Brycelands are members of BAR who in turn have collaborated with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to develop guidance on home moving. This has led to an industry guide being published which has been also supported by sector specific guidance. It is important to provide a consistency across the home moving sector
A document published by the BAR to its Members on Wednesday 6th May, and which has been widely endorsed by those other professional organisations and associations in the property moving industry and which has also been seen by MHCLG, provides clear guidance on risk mitigation procedures for the removers and their clients.
